PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus capable of improving the transfer efficiency of recording data to be transferred to the recording apparatus and improving the recording efficiency. SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises a reception buffer 201 for receiving recording data including blank data position information showing a position of blank data provided continuously from an external apparatus 1000 and storing the same. A signal processor 202 reads the recording data received by the reception buffer 201 for shifting the recording data by a predetermined shifting width based on the blank data position information included in the recording data, so that the recording data are written in a printing buffer 202. |
