PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wind a continuous sheet of toilet paper or the like to a coreless roll, in this invention related to an extending/contracting winding shaft. SOLUTION: This winding shaft 9 comprises a hollow shaft unit 10 and an elastic tube 12 arranged so as to envelope the hollow shaft unit 10 in its external peripheral side, the elastic tube 12 is bound by a filamentous streak 16 in a circumferential direction groove part 14 formed by providing a space in an axial line direction relating to the hollow shaft unit 10. By introducing pressure air to a cavity 20 in the shaft unit 10, the elastic tube 12 is inflated to the radial outward, in this condition, roll winding of a continuous sheet of toilet paper, kitchen roll, etc., is performed. After a prescribed winding diameter is obtained, air is discharged from the cavity 20, the elastic tube 12 is contracted, the winding shaft 9 is drawn out, a coreless hollow roll is obtained. The elastic tube is positioned inside the shaft unit, the elastic tube introduced with pressure air may be protruded from an opening formed in the shaft unit. |
