摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce generation of the plane tilt of a polygon mirror and to realize quality improvement in optical scanning by realizing a configuration in which the center of the thickness direction of the polygon mirror coincides with the center of a bearing. SOLUTION: A polygon scanner motor 1 which has the structure of a brushless motor and rotates the polygon mirror 3 to perform light deflection scanning is provided with: a stator 23 the lower part of which is fixed to a printed circuit board 4 and which has an air dynamic pressure bearing 5 formed in the upper part; and a rotor 25 which is fitted loosely to the air dynamic pressure bearing 5 of the stator 23 to rotate thereon. The polygon mirror 3 is fixed coaxially to the center of the rotor 25, and the mirror center 3a of the thrust direction is disposed on the same (or approximately the same) position as the bearing center 50 of the thrust direction of the air dynamic pressure bearing 5.
