PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing unit in a molten metal bath which has an extremely simple structure, which has a self-aligning function for returning the device immediately into normal rotation even if the rotation axis of the sink roll or the support roll rotates eccentrically, and which can follow, with a small sliding resistance in a sheet passing at a high speed. SOLUTION: In a roll bearing unit immersed in the molten metal bath, the inner peripheral surface of the bearing which is in sliding contact with the roll shaft has a projected shape in the cross section including the roll shaft.
