PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vapor dryness measuring instrument, having a wide measurable range of dryness or wetness and capable of reducing the heat radiation of a vapor supply part to the utmost, for accurately measuring dryness or wetness. SOLUTION: A vapor supply passage 2 for supplying vapor to be measured is connected to a measuring container 5 for storing a predetermined amount of a liquid. A heat-insulating pipe 7 is attached to the outer periphery of the vapor supply passage 2 and a head pressure sensor 20 for detecting the amount of supplied vapor is attached to the container 5. Temperature sensors 18 and 19 for detecting the temperature of the liquid in the container 5 are attached to the side part of the container 5. The enthalpy of vapor to be measured is operated from the temperature rise of the liquid in the container 5 and a supplied amount of vapor, and dryness or wetness of vapor can be further calculated from the enthalpy.
