PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating cycle device appropriately detecting an amount of lubricating oil in a hermetic case in a compressor with high reliability without using a mechanical switch. SOLUTION: An oil takeoff tube 31 is connected between the hermetic case 1c of the compressor and a refrigerator suction tube 18 of the compressor 1, the oil takeoff pipe 31 is provided with a capillary tube 33. Temperatures of positions clamping the capillary tube 33 are detected by temperature sensors 34 and 35 respectively, and the amount of the lubricating oil L in the hermetic case 1c is detected by the detected temperatures.
