PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for mounting an electric member for a periphery of a gate on a gatepost, which prevents exposure of wiring. SOLUTION: A guide groove 11 is opened vertically along a side surface of the gatepost 1. A base 2 is composed of an abutting piece 22 with the first wiring hole 22a, which abuts on the side surface of the gatepost 1 in such a manner as to straddle the guide groove 11, and a supporting piece 21 with the second wiring hole 21a, which has such a shape as to rise laterally from the abutting piece 22 and allows the electric member 8 for the periphery of the gate to be mounted on a front surface. The base 2 is fixed slidably along the guide groove 11. A cover member 5 is mounted on a rear surface of the base 2 so as to form a closed space with the base 2 in an area including the wiring holes 22a and 21a. Inside the guide groove 11, a wiring drawing hole 12 is provided in a position corresponding to the wiring hole 22a of the abutting piece 22 when the base 2 is fixed. The wiring installed in the electric member 8 in such a manner as to pass through the drawing hole 12 and the wiring holes 22a and 21a from the gatepost 1.
