PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a masking process with respect to recording data in a simple structure at a high speed. SOLUTION: Recording data is read from a first memory 100, mask data is read from a second memory 101 and the recording data and the mask data are synthesized by a data synthesizing circuit 105 to perform the masking process with respect to the recording data. The synthesizing circuit 105 synthesizes the plurality of bits of the recording data with one bit of the mask data. The reading from the first memory 100 and the processing by the data synthesizing circuit 105 is concurrently executed, thereby reducing the operation time period.
