PURPOSE: A paint composition for shielding the electromagnetic wave and its preparation method are provided, to improve the shielding efficiency and the paintability irrespective of the kind of the matter to be painted. CONSTITUTION: The paint composition comprises 1-5 parts by weight of an electrically conductive polyaniline-based polymer resin pigment; 10-15 parts by weight of crystalline graphite; 1-10 parts by weight of amorphous graphite; and a resin acting a varnish, a pigment blocking the electromagnetic wave, an organic solvent for dissolving the varnish component and other additive, based on 100 parts by weight of the solid component of the paint. Preferably the resin as a varnish is a thermoplastic polyurethane resin. The thermoplastic polyurethane resin has a mean number molecular weight of 3,000-15,000 and a glass transition temperature of 20-60 deg.C. |
