METHOD OF OPERATION OF PERIODIC PROCESS OF POLYMERIZATION OF BUTADIENE-STYRENE THERMOELASTPLASTICS

rubbers, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the branch of the process control of polymerization and can be used in production of synthetic rubbers. Method of operation over the periodic process of polymerization of butadiene-styrene thermoelastoplastics involving at least a block of styrene and butadiene is carried out in some reactors. Method involves the successive loading a solvent, styrene, the first portion of a catalyst into the first reactor and reaction temperature value is regulated by butadiene feeding into reactor by portion batches. The intrinsic viscosity value is regulated by alternation of the amount of the second portion of a catalyst loaded in the next reactor being the amount of the second portion of catalyst is determined by the following formula: Gk2 = Gk2i-1 + Mx ((Sprn+DELTAS)-Sn), where Gk2 is the amount of the second portion of catalyst loading into the following reactor; Gk2i-1 is the amount of the second portion of catalyst feeding into the former reactor; Sprn is the desired value of polymerization rate in the first block where the required value of intrinsic viscosity is obtained under condition of the regulated initiating temperature; M is a weight coefficient that is equal to 8-14; Sn is the rate of polymerization of the first block determined in the previous cycle of the former reactor as a ratio of difference between maximal polymerization point and initiating point to period of polymerization of the first block. The claimed method ensures to decrease time of information concerning the quality of ready production and make thermoelastomers with the required intrinsic viscosity value.
