<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable game apparatus wherein characters are set corresponding to manufacturers of portable telephones and telephone numbers thereof so that the game apparatus can be connected to a plurality of other portable telephones or to a plurality of other portable game apparatuses, thereby playing a game. SOLUTION: The portable game apparatus includes a connection means connectable to a portable telephone or a portable game apparatus, a detecting means to detect that the portable telephone or the portable game apparatus is connected to the connection means, thereby transmitting and receiving information, a display means to display game images, a storage means to store character information corresponding to the portable telephone manufacturers and telephone numbers thereof, and a central arithmetic means to manage input/output information, thereby performing arithmetic processing, wherein in an initial set state, a portable telephone of the game apparatus is connected the connection means to determine characters corresponding to the telephone manufacturers and portable telephone numbers thereof as characters of the game apparatus, and thereafter the game apparatus is connected to other portable telephones or portable game apparatuses, thereby performing competition games or changing, growing characters.</p> |
