PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of shape in cold rolling by which the good shape of a steel sheet is obtained even in the case that a high-tensile steel sheet is rolled with a tandem mill. SOLUTION: In the tandem mill used for cold rolling, a shape detector is arranged between the first stand and the second stand and a shape control mechanism provided on the first stand is controlled by the detecting signal of the shape detector.
