PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at the reduction of tertiary dispersed grains and the loss of cereal grains, and also prevent a threshing drum built in a treating chamber from increasing load caused by supplying discharged materials and un-threshed treating materials (secondary materials) to the same position of the treating chamber. SOLUTION: This construction of the threshing unit is provided by threshing cereal culms threshed in the threshing chamber 5 while transferring them from its front part to rear part, treating discharged materials treated in the treating chamber 7 while transferring them from its rear part to front part, returning the secondary materials returned by a secondary material-returning pipe 33 to an almost central part in its front and rear direction of the treating chamber 7, setting a lower surface part of the threshing chamber 5 and the lower surface of the treating chamber 7 at an almost same position and installing a threshing cylinder 4 built in the threshing chamber 5 and a treating drum built in the treating chamber 7 in the same rotating direction.
