Concentrated aqueous photographic fixing compositions include a photographic fixing agent and a compound represented by Structure Iwherein R is carboxy or sulfo, m is an integer of from 0 to 7 and n is an integer of from 2 to 5. This compound is provided in a concentrated aqueous fixer additive composition. These compositions can be used to provide images in color photographic materials, and particularly in color reversal films, with reduced residual sensitizing dye stain.
