<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball having novel dimple patterns determined by regions of a plurality of polygons connected to each other and a method of packing the dimples by utilizing the connected polygons. SOLUTION: The method of packing the dimples by utilizing the connected polygons is provided. The connected polygons extend toward a parting line from the poles of the golf ball. The dimples are positioned on the surface of the golf ball according to the patterns consisting of the connected polygons. The dimples are then packed in the remaining portions of the golf ball. As a result, the golf ball having the dimple patterns which has uniformity to some extent and are dispersed to some extent is provided.</p> |
