PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To newly provide an artificial tooth and a denture with a base having the artificial tooth in which turning-up, peeling-off and breakage are hardly generated even when a mechanical action by an occlusal force caused by mastication, etc., is repeatedly received and there exists extremely little possibility of falling down of the artificial tooth and which have excellent aesthetic properties. SOLUTION: A through-hole into which a base material for a denture base flows is provided in the buried part of the artificial tooth main body and a sideways recessed channel into which the base material for the denture base flows is provided on the wall of the outer peripheral face of the buried part.
