PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire descaling method and a wire descaling device in which a place for the descaling operation is compact, no special skills are required, and the surface finish is excellent, and a shot-blast device suitable therefor. SOLUTION: This wire descaling method is a method in which wires are mechanically descaled, and comprises a step of performing the primary descaling or scale breaking of the wires by a scale breaker, and a step of successively performing the secondary descaling by shot-blast.
