PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bacteria inoculation bed used for a domestic garbage disposer, wherein a high porosity structure can be achieved and the inoculation and multiplication performance of bacteria is enhanced by the high-void structure so as to markedly improve the efficiency of decomposing garbage. SOLUTION: The bacteria inoculation bed used for garbage disposal and comprising paper or particles 1 or flakes 1' made from pulp is provided. This bed may contain bacteria or both bacteria and an organic nutrient therefore exemplified by starch.
