PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game medium cleaning apparatus constituted so that a cleaning liquid is hardly spilled from a tank by simple constitution when the cleaning liquid is recovered/returned to the tank or when the tank vibrates. SOLUTION: This game medium cleaning apparatus is provided with a cleaning means for cleaning a game medium 14 with a cleaning liquid, the tank 6 for storing the cleaning liquid, a cleaning liquid supplying means 84 for supplying the cleaning liquid from the tank 6 to the cleaning means, a cleaning liquid recovering means 10 for recovering/returning the cleaning liquid supplied to the cleaning means to the tank 6 and a water absorbing member 80 which is constituted of a water absorbing material and inserted into the tank 6 for absorbing/holding the cleaning liquid in the tank 6. The tank 6 is packed with the member 80 fit to the interior shape of the tank 6. The member 80 consists of two members one of which is arranged on the supply side where the absorbed cleaning liquid is supplied to the cleaning means by the means 84 and the other is arranged on the recovery side where the cleaning liquid is recovered from the cleaning means and returned to the upper part of the tank 6 by the means 10.
