Method for installing a raised floor on a part of a building such as a gallery, balcony or similar involves tiles on devices adjustable in height. A framework is positioned supported by the adjustable height devices and raised accordingly, on which the tiles are fitted. the tiles are fixed by means of cement. Between the outer edges of the framework (7) and the opposing upright parts of the building cement is applied. The side edges of the framework are supported on parts of the building by adjustable devices. The sides of the framework are formed by angle irons (9,10) with flanges (13) laid in a surface and directed towards the inside of the framework. Between the sides T-profiles (12) are fitted. The height-adjustable devices are fixed to the framework.
