PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly and efficiently agitates the whole food material and to accurately adjust and control its heating temperature. SOLUTION: A horizontal food material heating and agitating device provided with a food material housing tank (T) of nearly an inverted half-cylindrical shape journaled by a bearing arms (10) of horizontal rotary shafts (20) to a bottomed frame (F), a heater (H) of the food material housing tank, and an agitating blade (A) which is made to rotationally drive the inside of the food material housing tank by the rotary shaft. The device agitates a food material (M) housed in the food material housing tank with the agitating blade while heating the material (M) by the heater. The heater is composed of an electromagnetic induction heater consisting of an entirely single electromagnetic induction heating coil (36) or a plurality of electromagnetic induction heating coils (36a), (36b), and (36c) arranged side by side and is fitted to the bottom surface of the food material housing tank. |
