PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regrowing a plant body of a callus of Peronema canescens Jack. SOLUTION: This plant body can be regrown by culturing a leaf tissue of the Peronema canescens Jack, inducing and proliferating the callus and then inducing and proliferating an adventitious bud and/or an adventitious embryo from the proliferated callus and rooting the proliferated adventitious bud or germinating the adventitious embryo. Thereby, the plant body can efficiently be regrown from the callus of the Peronema canescens Jack.
