PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate deterioration in the function of a vibration exciter which is made up with a movable magnetic type electromechanical vibration converter, due to the deflection of a coil spring caused by the exciter's dead weight. SOLUTION: In the exciter, a longitudinal direction of an inner case is defined as an axial direction. Then, a guide mechanism is provided to prevent the occurrence of deterioration in the function of the exciter by providing a guide mechanism. The mechanism prevents the generation of a relative displacement in the orthogonal direction with respect to the axial direction between the inner case and an outer case while allowing a relative displacement in the axial direction between the cases.
