PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting the defects of thin strip by magnetic leakage flux method is provided to detect surface and internal defects of the thin strip including roll mark. dull mark, dent, sticker, buckle and nonmetal inclusions by using a hall magnetic sensor. CONSTITUTION: In a detecting apparatus for detecting defects of thin strip using a magnetic sensor by magnetic leakage flux method, the apparatus for detecting the defects of thin strip by the magnetic leakage flux method is characterized in that high pass filter(13) for removing influence by induction magnetic field through amplifier(12) is connected to hall magnetic sensor(11) to which a power source is impressed from power supply unit(10), and an output part(15) is connected to the high pass filter(13) through low pass filter(14) and the amplifier for improving ratio of noises and signals by suppressing the noises so that controller of magnetic sensor is constructed in hybrid integrated circuit.
