COATING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To coat a web apart from a die head without breaking a coating liquid from the die head. SOLUTION: The coating apparatus 10 is provided with a dip vessel 11 housing a 1st coating liquid 15 and the die head 13 discharging a 2nd coating liquid 16 and provided at one side of the web W coming out from the dip vessel 11. The die head 13 has a slit 14 and the gap at the tip of the slit is 30-60μm. Thus by fixing the gap at the tip of the slit 14, the kinetic energy of the 2nd coating liquid 16 discharged from the die head 13 is increased to prevent the breaking of the 2nd coating liquid. As a result, even the web W traveling apart from the die head 13 is surely coated with the 2nd coating liquid 16.
