PURPOSE: A hydraulic coupler is provided to prevent perfectly a leakage of a fluid by moving linearly opening/closing units in a central direction, closing an inlet and an outlet at a position exactly, and removing a gap between insides of the inlet and the outlet and the opening/closing units. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic coupler is composed of a socket(10) and a plug(20). Opening/closing units(11,21) for opening/closing an outlet(10a) and an inlet(20a) are inserted and installed at the outlet of the socket and the inlet of the plug. An inner shape of the outlet and the inlet is tapered, and an inclined surface(1) is formed at the insides respectively. A protrusion(2) is formed at an upper end of the opening/closing units. A taper portion(3) is formed at a lower end of the protrusion. A dish type packing fixing portion(4) is formed at the lower end of the taper. A packing recess(5) is formed at a boundary portion between the lower end of the taper and the packing fixing portion, and packing(6) is inserted at the packing recess. A rod portion(7) is inserted and supported at supporting units. A cylindrical inside portion(8) is formed at outward ends of the outlet of the socket and the inlet of the plug respectively, and a cylinder(9) is formed at an outer circumference edge of the boundary portion between the lower end of the protrusion and the upper end of the taper.
