PURPOSE: A dice face reading device is provided to allow dice for game to be easily manufactured, while simplifying circuit configuration by improving the surface detection unit for reading pips on the faces of dice. CONSTITUTION: A dice game machine comprises a display positioned in the inner upper portion of a main body, an operation button arranged at the intermediate portion of the main body, a coin slot and a product outlet port arranged at the lower portion of the main body, an internal space formed by a transparent window between the display and an operation button, a plurality of operation units arranged beneath the internal space, a strike shaft(12) which elevates by a solenoid(13), and a die(17) arranged on the strike shaft. Each of the operation units has a sensor attached to the side wall of the operation unit, and lead switches(11a,11c,11d) buried into the bottom surface of the operation unit. The die has a plurality of magnets(15,15') attached to faces(A,B) of the die corresponding to each of lead switches.
