PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in remote diagnostic equipment proposed in various ways for periodically measuring an electrocardiogram, blood pressure, a heart rate, body temperature, body weight, and the like at home and transmitting them for a diagnosis, but none of them is proved until the measured result shows the abnormal value, that is, until a person becomes sick or is in the initial stage of sickness, therefore it is not satisfactory from the viewpoint of prophylaxis, and people of overseas service may be unable to exactly tell their conditions of sickness to foreign doctors due to the difference of language but international calls are too expensive to consult with Japanese doctors, so that they may be forced to lead the uneasy lives without being able to consult with the doctors. SOLUTION: This remote medical diagnostic terminal is provided with a measuring means for organism information used in usual Western medicine such as the blood pressure, pulse and the electrocardiogram, and a path diagnostic device for diagnosing a path. A basic diagnosis based on oriental medicine is made by measuring the path, and the experience value based on the organism information of the Western medicine is united with the basic diagnosis to permit consultation with the doctor and a counselor at a low cost using an Internet telephone. |
