PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method in which a product is obtained free from shear drop or shrinkage in the difference in level of the product as well as deformation in the projected part. SOLUTION: In the method of forming a disk-shaped member 4 having a fine projection 4a and a difference in level 3b, there are a facing process for forming a chamfering 2a on the outer circumference of a base material, a preliminary forming process for forming a previously projected part 3a and a difference in level 3b at a position where the fine projection 4a is formed, and a fine projection forming process for forming the fine projection 4a in the previously projected part 3a.
