PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately folding noodles in two so as to conform the respective ends of the upper half portion and the lower half portion of the noodles to each other. SOLUTION: This method for folding noodles in two comprises the following practice: noodles 1 cut in pieces each of a specified length and conveyed on a 1st conveyor 10 are transferred onto a 2nd conveyor 12, during which the center in the longitudinal direction of the noodles 1 is forcedly pushed downward with a relevant member 14 and the noodles 1 are folded in two and concurrently fed onto an unloading conveyor 16 disposed under the 2nd conveyor 12; specifically, the process is as follows: the space between the 1st conveyor 10 and the 2nd conveyor 12 is served as a folding guide 9 with a space smaller than the thickness of the noodles after folded in two, and when the tip of the noodles 1 is transferred onto the 2nd conveyor 12 and the center in the longitudinal direction of the noodles 1 comes above the folding guide 9, the lower end of the forcing member 14 is advanced downward to the folding guide 9 to begin to fold the noodles 1 in two, and the noodles 1 being gradually folded in two is fed onto the unloading conveyor 16.
