PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning line holder which can be moved not only in the vertical direction but also in the lateral direction in a state holding the spinning rod, can enlarge the range of the movements, and can three- dimensionally be moved. SOLUTION: This spinning rod holder having a spinning rod-holding portion in the upper portion and further a fixing portion to a ship edge or the like in the lower portion is characterized by disposing a rotation portion for supporting the spinning rod-holding portion in a state capable of being swung at least in the longitudinal direction in the middle portion of the holder. The rotation portion may be formed from a coil spring or a flexible pipe. Thereby, the spinning rod holder enables such scooping movements as moving a spinning tackle not only in the vertical and lateral directions but also in the oblique direction.
