PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game apparatus which enables the stable adjustment of an output rate for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The game apparatus has bases, movable by an external force, for placing prizes (trays 5L3, 5R3, 5L4, 5R4 and a first turning plate 35L1) and prizes placed on the bases can be obtained by player's operations. The game apparatus is provided with an origin return mechanism for returning any base to the origin position thereof before the movement thereof when the external force moving it is gone, a brake means for generating a braking force against the force moving the bases and a braking force adjusting means which adjusts the braking force according to a difference between the origin position of any base and the position which may be taken by the base involved when an operation is made to return it to the origin position by the origin return mechanism keeping the braking force applied after it is moved to a specified position from the origin position but there is no coincidence between both the positions after a specified time passes.
