PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing towel which comprises thick raw materials and has a shape enabling the easy gripping of a fish, and whose towel portion can easily be taken out only by pulling the towel, when needed. SOLUTION: This fishing towel having a D-type circular member 2 for hanging and stopping the towel 1, and having a holder 3 for detachably holding the D-type circular member 2 is characterized in that the D-type circular member 2 can be released from the holder 3 to freely employ the towel portion, by attaching the holder 3 to a prescribed position, hanging the towel 1 on the holder 3, and, if necessary, pulling the towel 1 to detach the holder 3.
