摘要 measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device has ultrasonic transducer unit disposed in process channel path filled with water. Ultrasonic transducer unit incorporates ten piezoelectric transducers of which tenth one is straight and nine transducers are tilted; straight transducer functions as radiating detector for exciting and detecting longitudinal waves and for measuring wall thickness in process channel. Sixth tilted transducer is used as radiator for exciting longitudinal wave in process-channel wall metal; first and second tilted transducers function as detectors for detecting transverse wave arriving from sixth transducer and transformed in process-channel metal. Second through ninth transducers enable checking for metal discontinuity flaw in process channel; inclination angle of tilted transducers is 21°37'.
