PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display numerals in a plurality of digits within a limited region in an easily identifiable fashion. SOLUTION: A CPU 10 executes a record of game display program 20a to perform a board surface display based on a data pertaining to the record of game stored in a record of game table 20b. In the process, each numeral indicating the number of moves is displayed on a pattern representing a stone according to any display pattern of the numerals indicating the respective number of moves to be taken in the board surface display as set on a display table 20c. The range of the number of moves registered on the record of game table 20b is sorted out for each of specified domains in the display table 20c and a display pattern is set to be given when the numeral alone of specified digits (e.g. one digit of the number of moves) is displayed numerically for the number within the domain of each range sorted out. Thus, the numeral alone of specified digits can be displayed by a display pattern corresponding to the domain to be displayed even if there is a limitation of the region for displaying numerals thereby allowing the identifying of all possible numerals expressed by a plurality of digits only based on the numerals of specified digits alone.
