PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curved metal sheet manufacturing method for reliably bending a metal sheet at a relatively low load during the pressing operation. SOLUTION: A metal sheet consisting of titanium or titanium alloy is bent while forming ribs on one surface of the metal sheet by abutting one surface of the metal sheet on a curved convex surface 11a of a die with recesses 2 formed therein, and pressing the metal sheet. The contact area is reduced, and the load can be decreased because the metal does not fill in the recesses. In addition, the metal on one surface side flows in the recesses, only one surface side is restricted, and the plastic deformation of the other surface can be promoted by increasing the tensile stress in the other surface side, and the return due to the spring-back of the obtained curved metal sheet can be suppressed.
