PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blend member having an enlarged collision surface and a method in which the member is used by rotating it in a blend device. SOLUTION: The blend member 50 rotating in a container 10 of the blend device has a central shank 51 having at least one end part and an area adjacent to the end part; and a collision anvil 55, i.e., an enlargement collision element certainly fixed to the end area of the central shank 51 during rotation of the blend member 50. At least a half of a rear surface 56 of the collision anvil 55 has a negative slope.
