PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a solid forming a hypohalogenous acid which is effective for eliminating bacilli of washing, a washing tank, etc., when washing is performed by means of a washing machine under a stable condition before it is used. SOLUTION: By enclosing an agent 44 (a solid consisting of an organic compound with a nitrogen-halogen atomic bond in the molecule) set in a water feeding path for feeding water into a washing tank of the washing machine and forming a hypohalogenous acid by being brought into contact with the water passing through the water feeding path in a bag 56 for a time until it is set in the water feeding path to shut it from the open air, the agent 44 is prevented from being brought into contact with the open air containing water content for decomposing it before it is used.
