PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carpet which covers a polyurethane foamed sheet with a protective material without impairing the case of winding up and the ease of folding of the carpet bonded with the polyurethane foamed sheet to the rear surface of a carpet raw fabric to prevent the carpet from being contaminated, torn, and peeled, has cushion properties and heat insulating and thermal insulating properties, is bulky, has high air permeability and flexibility, promotes the diffusion of warmth, exhibits deodorizing and antimicrobial functions by laying the carpet, on the heating floor surface and can be neatly spread and laid without allowing folding creases to remain. SOLUTION: A fiber web 16 is laminated on a polyurethane foamed sheet 15 constituted by open cells 14 of >=10 times in expansion magnification and a rear material 13 formed with surface fluff 18 by subjecting the fiber web 16 to needle punching to protrude portions of fibers 17 of the fiber web 16 to the front surface of the foamed sheet 15 is bonded to the rear surface of carpet raw fabric 11 coated with a foamy adhesive 12 in such a manner that surface fluff 18 faces each other.
