PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed device for a sewing machine capable of restraining wear of members structuring a differential feed regulating mechanism. SOLUTION: The feed device for the sewing machine is movably supported on a supporting shaft (55) at one end thereof and is provided with a differential feed regulating link (51) connected with a connection point of connecting members for transmitting swinging motion of a main shaft to a differential feed shaft at the other end as the differential feed regulating mechanism (50) for regulating a longitudinal movement range of a differential feed tooth 4b. Changing a pivotal position changes a rotation trace of the differential feed regulating link (51) and the longitudinal movement range of the differential feed tooth (4b). Making the differential feed regulating mechanism a link structure eliminates use of members such as conventional sliders, a regulating arm or the like sliding on each other in a sewing operation, restraining the wear of the members.
