PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medal game apparatus which can detect medals in a shorter time by preventing uncontrolled bouncing of medals fed into a target, moreover, achieves an accurate detection of the medals by preventing missed detection depending on the attitude of the medals and further, can accurately prevent the medals fed from being kicked outside even when a slot is located at the front thereof. SOLUTION: In the medal game apparatus in which a medal 26 is flipped into a target 22, the target 22 is provided with a slot 30 of the medal 26 formed opened on the front thereof, a target box 40 having a back plate 48 which is arranged facing the slot 30 being inclined to make the medal 26 fed from the slot 30 slide thereby controlling the attitude of the medal 26 and a passing path 52 which is arranged below the back place 48 to let the medal 26 pass with the attitude thereof controlled by the back plate 48 and a sensor 42 for detecting the medals which is arranged at the passing path 52 of the target box 40.
