PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine allowing borrowing a game ball in advance in a predetermined game condition while preventing discharge erroneous detection by a game controller in a discharging device. SOLUTION: This game machine such as a pachinko game machine is provided with a card unit 300 serving as a storage medium controlling means performing control related to exchange of a game medium, which is construct as a card storing a money value used for a game in the game machine, to a game ball, and by means of the game ball discharging device 105 serving as a game medium dispensing means arranged in the game machine 100, a prize ball and a rental ball can be discharged while switching a flow passage. The game machine is also provided with a residual number detecting means 27 detecting a residual number of holding balls (balls on a tray storing game balls before they are use for the game) and a borrowing in advance means 26 for requesting borrowing in advance. If a special game condition is generated when the number of the holding balls is the predetermined number or less while a card balance is zero, the borrowing in advance means 26 becomes effective, and on the basis of input from the borrowing in advance means, the game balls borrowed in advance can be discharged by means of the ball discharging device through a flow passage other than prize ball discharging flow passage complying with the prize.
