PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of enhancing interest in a game by improving a feature of formation change of a display pattern. SOLUTION: Before variable display of display patterns, the faces of respective character images in all the display patterns 51-53 are turned to the front. Then, the character image faces of all the display patterns 51-53 are directed diagonally. Following display of scrolling variation of all the display patterns, all the display patterns are stopped temporarily, and a thunder god character is displayed. Subsequently, when an image 55 of a thunderbolt is displayed, the faces of the respective character images are turned into an amazed look, and an image 56 of a cloud is displayed to cover the intermediate pattern 52. In this way, when the intermediate pattern 52 is exchanged while being completely covered with the image 56 of the cloud, the intermediate pattern 52 is varied again. |
