PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more compact horizontal vibration testing device. SOLUTION: A horizontal vibration testing device (1) is provided with a movable coil section (4) that is arranged in an air gap in which DC magnetic field is formed and is driven in a horizontal direction by a current flow, a vibrating table (2) which mounts a test body and has the section (4) fixed on the bottom surface thereof and a vibration table supporting section (3) which supports the table (2) in a freely sliding manner along the direction of the vibration. By supplying AC current to the section (4), the section (4) is driven in a horizontal direction and the table (2) is vibrated.
