PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send out stacked seedling boxes to the downstream side of a conveyor without destroying the posture. SOLUTION: A sending out device 30 for sending out the stacked seedling boxes, capable of sending out the seedling boxes C and C stacked and held by a seedling box-stacking device for stacking the seedling boxes having been sent by a seedling box-carrying out conveyor 12 so as to form several layers, and holding the seedling boxes C and C at the upper part of the conveyor, to the downstream side is composed of a sending-out chain 30c installed in the upper part of the seedling box-carrying out conveyor 12 along the conveying direction, and sending-out hooks 30d and 30d, regulated so that when the pushing out operation of the stacked seedling boxes C and C to the downstream side by the sending-out hook 30d by rotating the sending out chain 30c in the downstream side is finished, the rotation may temporarily be stopped, and thereafter, the sending out chain 30c may be rotated again so as to evacuate and turn the sending out hook 30d upward. As a result, it is avoided that only the seedling box at the upper layer of the seedling boxes C and C is sent out, and the stacked seedling boxes C and C are smoothly sent out without destroying the posture of the stacked seedling boxes C and C.
