PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemming device capable of preventing defective hemming caused by friction resistance on a part to be hemmed of a work, reducing the development cost, shortening the development period, improving the panel quality, and shortening the trial period. SOLUTION: In this hemming device which presses and holds a flange part 52 of a work 10 by a hemming blade 20 fitted to a supporter 30, the hemming blade 20 inserts a metal bar 22 in a spring 21. The hemming blade is rotatably fitted to the supporter 30 with the metal bar 22 as a support shaft. A plurality of projecting parts of the hemming blade 20 are brought into point contact with the flange part 52, and hemmed in a rotating manner, and the friction resistance caused by the hemming can be reduced.
