PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding sand storing means having compact structure without scattering the sand, its using method and a slide gate means. SOLUTION: In the molding sand storing means in a molding machine having charging hole for molding sand, the charging hole for molding sand, is opened/ closed with a slide plate shifting in a sand tank area.
