PURPOSE: A dielectric ceramic composition of the (Ba1-xRex)(Ti1-yMey)O3 + SiO2 + CaZrO3 system is provided, which has high dielectric constant, high insulation resistance, good temperature stability, and maximized additive effect due to addition of aqueous chloride or nitride. CONSTITUTION: The dielectric ceramic composition is expressed by the formula: (Ba1-xRex)(Ti1-yMey)O3 +aSiO2 +bCaZrO3, wherein Re is one or more chloride or nitride of Ho, Dy, Er, Sm, Ce and Y, Me is one or more chloride or nitride of Co, Mn and Mg, x and y(mole ratio) are in the ranges of 0.003<=x<=0.040 and 0.005<=y<=0.045, and a and b(weight ratio) are in the ranges of 0.002<=a<=0.035 and 0.001<=b<=0.015, respectively. The composition has dielectric constant more than 4000 and temperature change of capacitance(TCC) satisfying X7R in electronic industries association(EIA) standard.
