METHOD OF MINING OF LOW-COAL SEAMS

SUBSTANCE: method includes driving of workings, extraction of seam and displacement of monolithic blocks cut from rocks of seam floor or roof. Seam is mined by strips and rock blocks are arranged after working of current strip simultaneously with stoping of the next strip. Size of monolithic blocks corresponds to size of breakage face which is determined on basis of face roof supporting without special support. Blocks are displaced with the help of telescopic hydraulic jacks. EFFECT: higher efficiency of mining due to use of monolithic blocks as filling material. 6 cl, 1 dwg
