PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position a plate material on a table without being inclined against the orthogonal axes. SOLUTION: The plate machine is designed to position a plate material W by inserting positioning pins into the two positioning reference holes 31, 32 that are formed apart in the reference axial direction X on the plate material W. A plate material pushing means 38 is provided which, pushing the plate material W in the direction Y orthogonally crossing the reference axial direction X, brings the inner face of the reference holes 31, 32 into contact with the side of the positioning pins. A workpiece holder 11 is also provided which holds the end of the plate material W pushed by the pushing means 38.
